Having spent the past few days on a work trip, staying in Earls Court, London I’m desperate to share my experience at Theo’s Simple Italian with the world! Before heading to the area, I traditionally ‘Google mapped’ the area to try and find somewhere different to eat that wasn’t your typical chain and came across the Theo’s Simple Italian.

Located next to the Hotel Indigo on Barkston Gardens off Earls Court Road the restaurant overlooks a pretty private park surrounded by townhouses – it looked like a scene off 101 Dalmations.
With Italian food being my nemesis Theo’s did not disappoint! With three of us sitting down to dine we opted for the focaccia and salumi Misti – a selection of Italian artisan salumi – as a sharer stater which didn’t last long enough to take a photo of! The focaccia was thick, soft bread with a crispy finish and a drizzle of oil while the salumi was a selection of three meats.
For the main I decided to go for a classic – tagliatelle al ragu, a delicious mix of pasta with one of the best sauces I’ve tasted and shredded, slow-cooked beef.
